And found some neat photos from the past six months or so. I'll throw em up on here, any feedback would be great! I went digging through my folders this evening and am glad I 'went back' to review and edit some of them. I enjoy staying up, exploring my old photos, trying to inspire myself and remember why I do this in the first place. Anyway, here's a couple.
Papa, in waiting for his heart transplant qualification test results, 2008
Dad again, I was kind of just exploring him within this small space that he had for around 10 days throughout the testing. 2008
Snuggling the pillow he brought from home, 2008
Mum tying up another gown, 2008
Those were some of the shots I took after my first attempt at serious documentary and realized my fascination and passion for stories and insight.

I find I need inspiration constantly. Stimuli, images, movies, art, music. Any of it, in large quantities and all kinds. My uncle dug up an AMAZING Karsh book and gave it to me. I am so excited!
Faces of Our Time is a collection of portraits of a long list of politicians, artists, heroes, scientists and interesting characters. Karsh adds a statement for each portrait, and I think it's this that I find the most intriguing and inspiring; he makes connections with his portraits, and really goes with the flow. It was neat reading how he worked. The paper is nice and heavy and the prints are lovely and rich in the blacks on a matte paper. So detailed and silver!
Alright, Now I'm really getting into this.. I'm going to organize all my images tonight. Okay, just 2008. I will add more tomorrow, and will continue to shoot and create new stuff. .
Goodnight y'all
